The Mediterranean
climate we can enjoy in Valencia, allows you to visit
natural places which surround the city. It is a good
experience to know the famous Valencian light that grants
a special colour to the landscape. To the south of the
city, you can find the Nature reserve of La Albufera,
a large salt-water lagoon originated by the sediments
of several rivers that stopped the natural course of
the water to the sea forming a water extension of six
kilometres diameter.
And, close to the sea you find "La
Dehesa del Saler", a landscape formed by pines
and dunes, where you can find autochthonous species
with great natural value.Placed very nearly to the small
village of fishermen of El Palmar grove and close to
The Albufera's lake, you find a place where you can
practice fishing and where it is possible to embark
with the fishermen, enjoying the landscapes.
